Latin: let him beware. A formal warning. Caveat emptor means let the buyer beware or that the buyers should examine and check for themselves things which they intend to purchase and that they cannot later hold the vendor responsible for the broken condition of the thing bought.

New Delhi, Jul 4 : The Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), headed by Mukesh Ambani, today filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the Bombay High Court's order directing the RIL to supply natural gas to the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group-headed Reliance Natural Resources Limited(RNRL) at the rate of 2.34 dollars (Rupees 112.80) per mmbtu for 17 years.
